Why is the creation Yiftach Arieli in this gallery it is far from being amazing, it looks like a bad exercise by a starting artist and diminishes from the entire gallery.
Not to insult the artists, this work needs more work.

Jimmy, just few of artworks from those 2 lists are beyond any critics.
to give a short answer: by my wish! actually, is one of my favorites.
the reasons are many, but i will point just few. yes, is not so high end in details like others, but about those lack possible lack of details (in special because we don’t know the purpose of final result), i spoke in first round up.
you like or not, that is a good mesh work example. this is not a photorealistic topic. is about gradient mesh. to catch such an expression with a more simple wire, is a big achievement, in special when you paint / draw a baby face, which in fact are most difficult portraits.

To Jimmy.
regarding the work named Yiftach Arieli,
In my opinion it’s not that photorealistic and maybe not that Amazing vector gradient mesh but I also agree that he did catch a baby’s face expression which is difficult.
I also say that not all mesh paintings should be photorealist this is art after all and we as artists should be open to all kinds of art.

I’m in the business and really in enjoy some of these images. To quote, “check twice the resource after wire screenshots to assure yourself the images are not photos.” I did double check a couple.
Anyway. I’ve been going through your blog a bit this morning and think you’ve done a nice job.
