How hard can it be to find HD wallpapers for your desktop background? If you are doing a search in Google you’ll see hundreds of wallpapers sites, but most of them have low quality images or haven`t been updated for months or even years. In googles results, two or three sites are active and have quality wallpapers, the rest of them are waste of time.I’ve searched a little deeper for some good quality wallpaper sites that will transform any desktop background into a special workspace and I have found two that i recommend:
1st is called simply HD Wallpapers and manages wallpapers by categories / sub-categories and resolutions (available resolutions are: HD, widescreen, fullscreen, and for iPhone / iPad).
Here are the most representative categories and samples:
A huge collection with all kind of car models.
Latest movie posters and scene are in this collection. Also some of posters have additional information such as the trailer, release date in theaters and storyline of the movie.
3. Female Celebrities HD wallpapers
Actresses, singers and famous women from show-biz can be found in this gallery.
Starting with Christmas, New Year, Valentine’s day and going into the holidays as vacation can be found here.
2nd is called HD Wallpapers & Desktop Backgrounds and also is managed by categories and resolutions. But the HD wallpapers that can be found here, are not avaialble on the first site, they are completely different.
Also here the resolutions are only: HD and wide for computer desktop, and for smartphones which are compatible with iPhone and Android, and for tablets only with iPad.

3. Supermodel girls HD wallpapers
The most beautiful girls can be found here.
Another good wallpapers resource for cars enthusiast.
Comedy, adventure, action and many others movie poster types are available here.
Have to say that both sites also promote for free the artists of the wallpapers if they are known. In this way if you’re talented and wish to publish your work and want to become known submit your images and the official URL of your site.
