How to get rid of Hand Tool in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop

In other cases this is happen after you saw a flash in full screen, with Illustrator or Photoshop running. Even you will close your Illustrator the problem can remain. Doesn’t matter what tool you pick, your pointer will show the hand tool. The problem can be fixed just pressing the spacebar, and voila, no hand tool anymore. Spacebar, in fact, is a keyboard shortcut for hand / grab tool.

    Thank you so much! I was looking at flashearth.com in full screen and when I switched over to illustrator the hand toole got stuck on. Simple fix, haha. Thanks again for the tip

    I run flash videos full screen on my secondary monitor (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwH_-C2-93E) and it always broke illustrator. I’m really happy to find a simple solution for fixing this problem. Thanks man.

    ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!??! I’ve had this problem for forever and the only solution I found was rebooting! You are a God.

    Thank you!!!!!! Thank you!!!!! I have resorted to rebooting several times to clear this. Googling the issue brings up lots of hard to navigate information.. This was surprisingly hard to find. I am so glad. Thx.
