When we started researching for this post we soon realized there is some very talented artists who prefer to express themselves in this figurative and representational way. Amidst the incredible detail and realism depicted, these works can be quite thought provoking, sometimes using depictions of the unusual and taboo to help open the viewers eyes and mind to the idea or point of view being expressed, but in a non conventional way. For the purpose of this post we avoided adding anything too macabre, taboo or erotic, but if you are interested by this art, browse the artists websites for more examples it.
