The use of Modules in Unsigned Theme makes it  very powerful. Lets have a look at some of these modules and what functionality they add.

The Events Module is where you can organize upcoming events and sort them into  categories for easy management. Upcoming events are pinned with a status of upcoming, right now, or past, to help keep track of your bands busy schedule.

The Events Module comprises of 3 Widgets which are where you input Times, Dates and Venues, keeping your fans updated on where you are, where you will be, and where you have been.

The Discography Module is where you manage album releases. Albums can be categorized, an album cover image can be constructed, as well as a  unique catalog ID given and a release date set and announced. An audio player is available for each album. This player uses tracks that are uploaded directly when adding or editing an album. The tracks can be re-ordered and managed using native WordPress Lightbox Windows.

Manage your stock levels and customer orders easily. Jigoshop has been engineered to make the boring parts of eCommerce, well, less boring!

Setting up your store involves configuring the plugin to meet your needs, setting up some attributes for your products to use, and finally adding in your products. Once done you’re pretty much ready to start selling.

Minimum server requirements

• A WordPress install!
• PHP 5.2.4 or greater
• MySQL 5.0 or greater
• The mod_rewrite Apache module
• fsockopen support (for payment gateway IPN access)

Jigoshop comes with several shortcodes which can be used to insert content inside posts and pages. The following shortcodes are inserted into pages upon installation and therefore shouldn’t need to be used anywhere else:

• [jigoshop_cart] – shows the cart page
• [jigoshop_checkout] – shows the checkout page
• [jigoshop_pay] – shows the checkout pay page
• [jigoshop_order_tracking] – shows the order tracking form
• [jigoshop_my_account] – shows the user account page
• [jigoshop_edit_address] – shows the user account edit address page
• [jigoshop_view_order] – shows the user account view order page

The following shortcodes can be used anywhere you want:

• [recent_products per_page="12" columns="4"] – Lists recent products – useful on the homepage. The per page limits the amount of recent products shown, and the columns attribute controls how many columns wide the products should be before wrapping.
• [featured_products per_page="12" columns="4"] – Works exactly the same as recent products but displays products which have been set as “featured”.

Since Jigoshop uses custom post types for its products and orders you can use WordPress’ inbuilt exporter, and the standard WordPress post importer.
