Wordpress: How to add multiple images to your media gallery at once Tweet
Follow those easy steps to upload multiple images to your blog post in a save time manner.
1. Click on “Add an image” icon
2. Click on “Select files” button
3. Browse to your folder images (put images in one folder)
4. Select all images (CTRL+A)
5. Click “Open” Button
6. Using “Media Library” tab button you can have access to all your images. Now you can insert one by one or like a gallery.

Once you add the images to your media library, is there any way to add multiple images to your “gallery” to be used in the shortcode [gallery]? The only way I know how to do it is one by one, by inserting it into the post via the media library.

if you scroll to be the bottom of “media gallery” (tab) you’ll find how to add entire gallery to the post.
the shortcode is something like:

Really nice information about to add multiple images to your media gallery at once. You have to go to your media library & attach the pictures you want to include to a particular post or page. Then when you go to that post or page & you click on gallery, those pictures that you attached to it will show up.
